RESIDENTIAL CARE:

Breach House is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide residential care for 26 elderly residents and our principle aim is to create a pleasant environment as close to that of an ordinary home as possible, caring for the resident as if he or she were in the care of their own family. We pride ourselves on giving first class, 24 hour waking care. We offer both long and short stay care and recommend a trial period of 1 month to ensure that our home can meet the individual’s needs. This also allows the individual time to take in the massive changes and explore how they feel about the decision.

Whilst Breach House is not a nursing home the local District Nurses support any individual on a short term basis. A full resume of the facilities we offer here at Breach House is detailed under the 'facilities' section.

DAY CARE:

We are also able to offer day care here, which includes a hot meal and refreshments, the opportunity to have a bath or shower with the help of competent care staff and participation in activities if desired. It is a great way to introduce the concept of care to anyone who is still coping at home but may need to consider this option in the future, and also gives social stimulation to those who may spend a lot of time alone or suffer from loneliness. Prices available upon request.

RESPITE CARE:

Respite care for any length of time can be arranged, subject to room availability. We have many clients who find this a useful service when family members are on holiday as they have the peace of mind and security whilst their loved ones are away. It is also a good introduction into the world of full time residential care and allows residents to ascertain whether this is the Home for them if it becomes necessary on a permanent basis in the future. Respite care fees are individually set and prices are available following assessment by our Care Manager Mrs Jamiel Slaney_Summers.
