Breach House Residential Care Home
Breach House is an independently owned small business partnership and therefore, we can offer a more personal touch and attention to detail than some of the larger establishments.
The Proprietors, Golden age care Ltd who have owned Breach House since May 2012 are very committed to the Home and the provision of quality care and service. They are all actively involved with all aspects of the running of the Home, choosing to regularly attend at the home and to conduct many aspects of the running of the Home themselves.
Jamiel Slaney_Summers is the registered manager of the home. Jamiel has over 30 years experience in Health and Social Care in a variety of setting, bringing a wealth of experience and teaching skills to the staff and the home. Jamiel was appointed to this position in February 2014 after over a decade of dedicated service by our previous manager whom relocated.
Breach House was founded in 1991 as a Care Home, having formerly been a farmhouse. It was converted into a Care Home by the former farming family and the small numbers of outbuildings around us were converted into private dwellings. It is an exclusive development in a sought after rural village within enviable surroundings of outstanding natural beauty.
We have a full, very committed and friendly compliment of staff. These include a Deputy Care Manager, an Assistant Deputy Manager, several Senior Care Assistants, Night Care Assistants and Care Assistants, in addition to our Housekeepers, Chefs and a Gardener.
The village of Belbroughton is a beautiful setting, conveniently nestled between the towns of Bromsgrove, Kidderminster and Stourbridge, all being just ten minutes away by car. We are also just 10 miles from Birmingham city itself, and yet enjoy an enviable location surrounded by countryside of outstanding natural beauty and panoramic views of the Clent Hills, and the distant Malvern Hills.
The attractive village of Belbroughton itself is just a third of a mile away, & offers facilities such as several public houses, newsagents, a post office, church, G.P surgery and a variety of social groups. The nearest train station is located a Blakedown, approximately 4 miles from Belbroughton. There is also a bus stop at the end of our drive, although the village bus service could not be described as frequent!
Breach House is accessed along a lane leading from the main high street. We have gardens totalling more than two acres, which are landscaped, accessible and safe for all of our clients to take advantage of. A gazebo with garden seating and tables are provided so that our residents may take full enjoyment from the beautiful gardens and tranquil setting.
