Mealtimes At Breach House Residential Care Home
Breakfasts are served between approximately 7.30 am and 11 am. Residents are able to make their own choice of items from the breakfast choices list.
Depending on each individual resident, breakfast may be taken in the dining room or in their own bedroom.
Tea and biscuits and fresh fruit are served from the trolley at around 10.00 am.
Lunch is served at approximately 12 noon. A weekly/daily Menu Board is situated near the dining area, and can vary from Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding to Lancashire Hotpot, from Roast Leg of Lamb to Fish and Chips. There are alternative meals available for those Residents who do not wish to have what is stated on the menu for that particular day. All of our meat is purchased from the local butcher. A variety of desserts are offered throughout the week.
Refreshments, biscuits and fresh fruit served every afternoon, and on request, throughout the day.
Teatime is 4.15 pm and can vary from salads to a cooked tea, followed by home-made cake or tart, or fruit and cream.
Supper sandwiches/Cakes/Biscuits and drinks are served from the trol-ley at about 7 to 7.30 pm onwards.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are available at all times, along with snacks. The tea and coffee-making facilities are also available to Residents’ visitors.
